Welcome to the Red Cliffs Utah Temple, a beautiful addition to the St. George Temple! Announced by the beloved Prophet Russell M. Nelson on October 7, 2018, this Temple represents the 20th in Utah and is a wonderful testament to the faith and dedication of its members.
The Red Cliffs Utah Temple’s groundbreaking took place on November 7, 2020, with the inspiring Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland leading the ceremony. He took a moment to honor the pioneers whose hard work built the historic St. George Temple nearby, reminding us of the deep roots of faith in this stunning part of Utah. Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland said, “We salute those pioneers who, with sacrifice and sweat, built just a mile or so away the beautiful St. George temple that has provided a symbolic anchor of our faith in this part of the state for a century and a half.”
