The upcoming Vienna Austria Temple, set to be located on an 0.80-acre site, promises to be a remarkable addition to the city. Announced by Prophet Russell M. Nelson on April 4, 2021, he emphasized the importance of keeping temple covenants and blessings at the forefront of our lives, urging people to stay true to the commitments they have made.

This impressive space is designed to span 15,300 square feet and will be multistory, ensuring it meets the needs of nearly 4,700 members of the Church residing in Austria, organized into 17 congregations. At an elevation of 616 feet, the Temple will be situated in an area that further enhances its presence within the beautiful backdrop of Vienna.

On March 23, 2026, an exterior rendering was revealed, showcasing the elegant design that reflects both grandeur and tranquility. This will mark a significant milestone, as it will be the first house of the Lord established in Austria, bridging years of spiritual experience for members throughout the country.
