During the 194th Annual General Conference on April 7, 2024, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct the Lehi Utah Temple. Lehi is part of Utah’s growing technology region, known as Silicon Slopes. This temple will be the 30th announced for Utah and will be located in northern Utah County. The city was first settled by pioneers in 1850. At the time of the announcement, Utah was home to nearly 2.2 million Latter-day Saints, representing approximately two-thirds of the state’s population, organized into more than 5,400 congregations.
