Inside, the millwork is taking shape, with an anticipated completion date in mid- to late 2026 bringing us closer to the open house and dedication ceremony, where the community will unite to experience this spiritual haven.

With its striking architectural design, the Modesto California Temple features a single attached central tower and will house two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, meeting the diverse needs of its visitors. Standing tall at 81 feet, this temple embodies hope and connection for the 755,000 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in California, providing them with a sacred space closer to home.

The groundbreaking ceremony on October 7, 2023, marked a pivotal moment, with Elder Gary B. Sabin offering the dedicatory prayer. Sharing its parking lot with the adjacent meetinghouse at 4300 Dale Road enhances convenience for congregants.

Built on a generous 17.63 acres, the temple will encompass 30,000 square feet of sacred space. The official rendering released on December 19, 2022, has already ignited excitement and anticipation for the future.
