Exciting news for the community of Yuma, Arizona! The Yuma Arizona Temple is on the horizon, currently in the planning stages with no groundbreaking date yet announced. On November 24, 2025, the eagerly awaited exterior rendering was unveiled, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from this stunning addition to the area.

Spanning 7 acres, the temple will showcase beautiful architectural features, including a striking single attached end tower. Inside, it will house one spacious instruction room, two sealing rooms for cherished ceremonies, and a serene baptistry, all within its impressive 18,500 square feet. Perched at an elevation of 210 feet, this temple is set to be a magnificent focal point in Yuma.

Located at East 36th Street and South 8 East Avenue, the Yuma Arizona Temple is a significant milestone for the more than 440,000 members of the church in Arizona and the 925 congregations that make up this vibrant community. The late Prophet Russell M. Nelson’s announcement on April 7, 2024, confirmed that Yuma would soon be blessed with its own temple, a cherished goal for many.
