Rendering of the Yuma Arizona Temple

Exciting news for members of the Church in Arizona! The Yuma Arizona Temple is on the horizon and generating quite a buzz. Although it’s still in the planning stages and a groundbreaking date has yet to be announced, anticipation is already building for what this beautiful temple will bring to the community.

On November 24, 2025, the official exterior rendering of the Yuma Arizona Temple was unveiled, giving a glimpse of the architectural masterpiece that will soon grace the landscape. Spanning an impressive 18,500 square feet and nestled on 7 acres, this temple will feature a stunning single attached end tower, adding a distinctive touch to its design.

Inside, the temple will offer much for the community, including one instruction room, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry—making it a cherished sanctuary for spiritual gatherings and personal reflection. Sitting at an elevation of 210 feet, it will not only be a place of worship but also a remarkable landmark in Yuma.

The announcement by the late Prophet Russell M. Nelson on April 7, 2024, about the new temple has sparked excitement among the over 440,000 church members in Arizona and the 925 congregations scattered throughout the state. As the Yuma Arizona Temple progresses, it symbolizes hope and faith for many, marking a bright new chapter for the local community. Keep an eye out for more updates as this inspiring project unfolds!
