The public open house ran from March 25 to April 15, 2023, allowing many to experience its beauty ahead of official dedication.
The grand dedication was held on May 7, 2023, conducted by Prophet Dallin H. Oaks, signifying the completion of this long-awaited addition to the area.
Architectural Features
The exterior of the Richmond Virginia Temple is finished with exquisite Moleanos limestone sourced from Portugal. This choice of material contributes to the elegant aesthetic, complemented by a single attached end spire topped with a gold-leafed Angel Moroni, a distinctive feature that enhances its profile.
