The temple’s exterior is elegantly clad in granite, reflecting timeless strength and subtle beauty. Dominating the skyline is a single, majestic spire crowned with a 13-foot-tall, gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue—welcoming all with its message of hope and divine promise.

The temple’s interior is thoughtfully designed to serve the spiritual needs of its members. It features two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptismal font—creating sacred spaces for eternal family ceremonies and personal reflections. With a total area of 16,800 square feet at an elevation of 1,225 feet, this majestic structure invites community members to experience peace and inspiration within its walls.

The public open house for the San Antonio Texas Temple drew more than 50,000 visitors from all walks of life, eager to witness this beautiful edifice firsthand. On May 22, 2005, Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley dedicated this sacred site, establishing it as a divine place for worship and service for generations to come.
