The Wichita Kansas Temple encompasses 9,950 square feet and features a single story design. It will include one instruction room, one sealing room, and a baptistry, providing essential spaces for various functions. Unique to this Temple is its single attached central tower, which notably does not have a gold-leafed Angel Moroni.

Upcoming Dedication

The dedication of the Wichita Kansas Temple is slated for Sunday, November 1, at 10 a.m., presided over by Apostle Patrick Kearon of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. This significant event will also be rebroadcast at 2 p.m., allowing many to participate in this momentous occasion.

Prior to the dedication, there will be an open house for the community from September 24, 2026, through October 10, 2026. Please note that the open house will not take place on Sundays and will be closed on October 3, 2026.
