Location and Size
Nestled on an expansive 18.62-acre site, the Bentonville Arkansas Temple will be located at 1105 McCollum Dr, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712. This is not just a beautiful site; it is also designed to accommodate the needs of the community, as it will share a parking lot with a nearby meetinghouse.
Architectural Features
The architectural design of the Bentonville Arkansas Temple is striking. Spanning 28,472 square feet, this impressive building will feature a single attached central spire, which will be unique for not having the traditional gold-leafed Angel Moroni statue. The exterior of the Bentonville Temple will be clad in granite, providing a solid and timeless appearance.
The Bentonville LDS Temple will also sit at an elevation of 1,268 feet, adding to its prominence in the beautiful Arkansas landscape. A rendering of the Bentonville Mormon Temple was released to the public on August 28, 2020, showcasing its beautiful features.
Interior Design
Inside, the Bentonville Arkansas Temple will offer a stunning atmosphere complete with decorative wood inlay throughout, reflecting motifs of the dogwood blossom, diamond, and quilting. The interior carpets will be luxurious gold broadloom, complementing the elegant design. Decorative light fixtures made from glass, bronze, and crystal will add a touch of refinement to the ambiance.
