Announced by Prophet Russell M. Nelson on April 4, 2021, the Vienna Austria Temple was introduced with a heartfelt message urging individuals to keep their temple covenants and blessings foremost in their minds and hearts. Staying true to the covenants made is a vital aspect of the experience that this space aims to foster.

Situated at an elevation of 616 feet, the Temple will serve as a cherished space for nearly 4,700 members of the Church living throughout Austria, who currently gather in 17 congregations.
