Welcome to the Mesa Arizona Temple, a beautiful landmark of faith and community right here in Arizona! Located at 101 S. LeSueur, Mesa, Arizona 85204, this lovely temple is the seventh dedicated temple currently in operation, and it holds a special place in the hearts of many.

Announced all the way back on October 9, 1919, the Mesa Arizona Temple has a rich history that adds to its charm. Many folks were excited to explore this sacred space during the open house from October 16 to November 20, 2021, hosted by the wonderful Prophet Dallin H. Oaks. Set on a generous 20 acres, the temple is a peaceful retreat for everyone looking to enhance their spiritual journey.

The exterior is truly eye-catching, featuring a unique glazed eggshell finish that’s reinforced with 130 tons of steel—combining durability with graceful beauty. You’ll also notice the flat roof decorated with lovely sculpted friezes, each representing Isaiah’s promise in the last days—truly meaningful details that add to its allure!

Members with a Temple Recommend can Step inside, and you’ll find four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all spread out over an impressive 75,000 square feet. Standing tall at 53 feet and perched at an elevation of 1,240 feet, this temple is not just Arizona’s first temple; it’s a warm gathering place for all who enter.

Originally known as the Arizona Temple, it has gracefully adapted over the years, shifting from live performances to modern displays that continue to inspire and engage visitors.
