A Dream Come True
The announcement for the ephraim Utah Temple came on May 1, 2021, igniting excitement in the hearts of many. Just a year later, on August 27, 2022, a groundbreaking ceremony took place, led by none other than the Prophet Russell M. Nelson. He reflected on the profound personal connection to the area, stating, “My dear mother was born in Ephraim, not far from this very temple site…” His words reminded everyone present of the deep roots that extend through generations — a foundation of faith that has shaped their spiritual journey.
During the prayer, President Nelson emphasized gratitude for ancestors and the spiritual strength they provide, saying, “May we learn who they are, find their qualifying information, and bless their lives with sacred rites offered vicariously in this holy house.” What a powerful vision for all those who will visit this temple!
