The journey to establishing this Temple began on April 2, 2011, when it was announced by the Prophet Thomas S. Monson. After years of anticipation, the groundbreaking took place on August 24, 2013, led by Ronald A. Rasband, marking the official beginning of what would become a cherished location for many.
With its public open house from August 19 to September 10, 2016, the Fort Collins Colorado Temple welcomed approximately 105,000 individuals who came to experience its serene beauty and unique features.
The Temple was dedicated on October 16, 2016, by Apostle Dieter F. Uchtdorf, and it has since become a focal point for many who seek spiritual insights and personal growth. Spanning an impressive 42,000 square feet and standing at a height of 112 feet, this site is built on 15.69 acres of landscaped grounds.

A distinctive central tower is attached to the main building, topped by a gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue, which was installed on August 26, 2015, adding a touch of reverence to the design.
