A Journey Through Time

The announcement for the Gilbert Arizona Temple came on April 26, 2008, generating excitement among those who anticipated its construction. The groundbreaking and site dedication took place on November 13, 2010, led by Elder Claudio R.M. Costa.

After years of anticipation, the public open house ran from January 18 through February 15, 2014, attracting an astounding 407,020 attendees. This was a momentous occasion that propelled the community’s interest and engagement.

On March 2, 2014, the Temple was dedicated by Prophet Thomas S. Monson, with readings by Henry B. Eyring, marking an important chapter in its history.
