Situated at 1400 E Center St, Heber City, Utah 84032, this site is nestled in the beautiful Heber Valley, a picturesque rural mountain valley located in Wasatch County, just over 40 miles from Salt Lake City. The Temple was announced on October 3, 2021, and the long-awaited groundbreaking and site dedication occurred on October 8, 2022, presided over by Prophet Russell M. Nelson. This momentous occasion was highlighted during the October 2021 General Conference.
Architectural Features
Spanning an impressive 18.17 acres, the Heber Valley Utah Temple will showcase distinctive architectural features. This design includes two attached end towers and will notably feature no gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue. With a total square footage of 87,626 feet, it qualifies as one of the larger Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Interior Spaces
Inside, the Temple will accommodate four instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and a single baptistry, providing ample facilities for various ceremonies. With a height of 210 feet and sitting at an elevation of 6,711 feet upon completion, it is sure to stand out against the stunning backdrop of the surrounding mountains.
