The journey to the establishment of this significant Temple began with an announcement made by Prophet Thomas S. Monson on April 2, 2011. The anticipation grew, culminating in a significant milestone on August 24, 2013, when Ronald A. Rasband dedicated the site and marked the official groundbreaking.
In an impressive display of community interest, a public open house took place from August 19 to September 10, 2016. During this period, around 105,000 individuals seized the opportunity to explore the Temple, demonstrating its importance and the curiosity surrounding its architectural elegance.
