Vancouver Washington Temple

Vancouver Washington Temple Rendering

Get ready, everyone! Exciting news is headed our way with the upcoming Vancouver Washington Temple, set to grace the intersection of SE 20th Street and SE Bybee Road in Camas, Washington. Anticipation is building as the completion date is projected for late 2028.

This remarkable project was officially announced by the Prophet Russell M. Nelson on October 1, 2023, sparking excitement among the faithful. The groundbreaking ceremony, which took place on August 23, 2025, was led by Mark A. Bragg, who beautifully articulated the significance of the temple: “A temple is truly the house of the Lord, a holy protection from the world where sacred ordinances of the gospel are performed by and for the living and in behalf of our ancestors. We know that we live after this life and can return to live with our Heavenly Father.”

Spanning an impressive 15.11 acres, this architectural gem will feature a unique single attached end spire, captivating all who pass by. Inside, the temple will house four instruction rooms, one baptistry, and three sealing rooms, all spread across a spacious 43,000 square feet. Towering at a height of 167 feet and sitting at an elevation of 267 feet, it promises to be a striking landmark in the region.

The excitement doesn’t stop there! On September 3, 2024, a stunning rendering of the Vancouver Washington Temple was released to the public, allowing community members and future guests to catch a glimpse of what to expect. This temple will be the sixth of its kind in Washington, serving a vibrant community of 280,000 members with over 489 congregations at the time of its announcement.

Stay tuned as we watch this sacred structure come to life!
