The Knoxville Tennessee Temple is currently under construction and is located at 13001 Kingston Pike in Farragut, Tennessee 37934. This new addition to the region was officially announced on April 3, 2022, by Prophet Russell M. Nelson during the April 2022 General Conference.

The Temple is being built on a spacious 4.99 acres and spans approximately 30,836 square feet. It features a single attached central tower and is unique in that it will not include a gold leafed Angel Moroni Statue. Inside, the Temple will offer two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and one baptistry.

As of now, the exterior cladding of the Temple is complete. Additionally, the monument sign has been installed, marking another step in the construction process. The interior finish work, however, is still underway and has not yet been finalized.
