Welcome to the beautiful Red Cliffs Utah Temple, a shining gem in the heart of St. George, Utah! It was announced on October 7, 2018, by Prophet Russell M. Nelson, becoming the 20th Temple in Utah—how exciting is that?

On November 7, 2020, we celebrated the groundbreaking, led by Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland, who honored the pioneers of the area and their hard work. This Temple is not just another building; it’s a heartfelt Temple of our faith, carrying on the spirit of the nearby St. George Temple that has stood proudly for over 150 years. Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland said, “We salute those pioneers who, with sacrifice and sweat, built just a mile or so away the beautiful St. George temple that has provided a symbolic anchor of our faith in this part of the state for a century and a half.”

When you visit us at 1555 S Red Cliffs Temple Ln, you’ll be greeted by a stunning landscape, including palm trees lining the entrance and gorgeous fountains that enhance the peaceful atmosphere. Standing tall at 230 feet, with a striking gold-leafed angel moroni statue perched on top, the Temple is a sight to behold!

The open house was from February 1 to March 2, 2024, led by Apostle Henry B. Eyring. It’s the perfect opportunity to take a tour before the dedication on March 24, 2024. Once inside the spacious 96,277 square feet, you’ll find four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a lovely baptistry that reflects the beautiful members flora, like succulents and stunning Indian paintbrush.

Every corner of the Red Cliffs Utah Temple has been thoughtfully designed to create a warm and welcoming feel. The interior is like a beautiful embrace of the surrounding landscape, with lovely patterns of vines, flowers, and leaves that invite you to relax and reflect. The baptismal area, in particular, draws on the stunning members plants, making it a truly special space.

Don’t miss the delightful outdoor spaces! To the north, three serene pools with gentle waterfalls offer a cool oasis and invite you to pause for a moment of quiet reflection.

As the second Temple built in Washington County, the Red Cliffs Utah Temple is a wonderful testament to our Temple’s spirit and devotion. With its stained glass windows beautifully depicting members flora and lovely bronze and painted steel flowers adorning the baptismal font and stairway railings, every detail embraces our rich heritage and the natural beauty of the area.

We can’t wait for you to visit the Red Cliffs Utah Temple, where faith, Temple, and nature come together in a delightful harmony. It’s more than just a Temple; it’s a place where we can all come together, feel at home, and celebrate the joys of life. See you soon!
